As it is now, when playing any game online where there is a multiplayer component, the client renders all the graphics, and the server simply sends back data points for the client to turn into nifty graphics (where people are, where the bullets are … But for doing virtual worlds or games , you need to scale the server technology well beyond “real-time” performance (in the video , they seem to get maybe 5-15 fps).
